Yes, you can. For language programs, you can start even without any Korean knowledge. For undergraduate/graduate programs, TOPIK Level 3+ is usually required, but some schools offer English-track programs.

Can I work part-time? +

D-4 and D-2 visa holders can work part-time after obtaining work permit from the immigration office. D-4 visa holders must wait 6 months after arrival. Depending on Korean proficiency, you can work 10-15 hours per week during semesters, unlimited on weekends and breaks.

Is it difficult to get scholarships? +

There are various scholarships available for international students. Many universities offer tuition reduction benefits for high TOPIK scores and good academic performance. While GKS Government Scholarship is highly competitive, university scholarships are relatively accessible.

Can I work in Korea after graduation? +

Yes, after graduating from a Korean university, you can change to a D-10 (job seeker) visa to search for jobs for up to 2 years. Once employed, you can change to E-7 (special activity) or other work visas to work in Korea.

Is dormitory housing guaranteed? +

Most universities provide priority dormitory allocation for international students. However, the guarantee period may be limited to 1-2 semesters depending on the school, so advance confirmation is necessary.
